Therapist
“The stories we tell ourselves shape our lives. They shape who we
believe we are, and this belief translates into who we become” (John
Assaraf). The narratives we tell ourselves are never authentic to who we are; but are rather an accumulation of the roles, responsibilities, and expectations thrust on us throughout our early childhood years. We take these narratives and throughout our lives continue to strengthen them, often to the demise of our peace.
My focus is to work with adults and provide a safe space for their
stories. “The most dangerous stories we make up are the narratives that
diminish our inherent worthiness” (Brene Brown). We all deserve an
opportunity to reach our full potential. Through the use of
Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems, and Cognitive Behavior
Therapy; I want to assist you on your journey of re-writing your story
and becoming the authors of your own book. I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education in 2000 from McGill University, and my master’s from Boston University, School of Social Work.
I am fluent in English, French and Urdu, and meet with adults and couples via telehealth.
